About the Role
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced HVAC Design Engineer to handle system design, load calculations, and technical documentation for our ongoing and upcoming projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design HVAC systems (ducted split, VRF/VRV, chilled water, FCU/AHU based systems) in line with project requirements and applicable codes
- Perform Heat Load Calculations using HAP (Hourly Analysis Program) or equivalent software
- Carry out Ventilation Calculations for fresh air, exhaust, and pressurization systems
- Select Air Registers/Grilles/Diffusers based on airflow, throw, and noise criteria
- Develop HVAC layout, ducting, and piping drawings using AutoCAD
- Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for tendering and procurement purposes
- Prepare cost Estimations and support the commercial team during bidding

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of HVAC design experience, preferably in the UAE/GCC market
- Proficiency in HAP, AutoCAD, MS Excel; knowledge of Revit MEP is a plus
- Strong understanding of SMACNA/ASHRAE standards and UAE local authority requirements (DEWA, Civil Defence, Etc.)
- Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and documentation skills
